Friendship is measured in moments
A day here, a day there...
Deeds done in kindness,
Going by almost unseen.
Then when years have past
And toils forgotten
The sweetness of those precious moments
Remain bespoken... in the Heart.
Though time and cares and life
Take one in busy paths away.
From those …awhile, whom friendships upon some same road doth strike,
Are never far flung from the heart…
Kindled always in that special part
That transcends moments and months apart
With new song and sweet greetings sent with chirpings….like a lark!
A friendship, that can be as free,
And yet pick up at a moments glee,
Is truly one of life’s blessings that in you I see!
