Fresh Blueberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pre-baked Pie Shell

  • Blueberries

  • Gelatin

  • Lemon Juice

  • Sugar

Directions

  • Bake and cool pre-made Pie Crust
  • Dissolve: 1 package of unflavored gelatin in 2 tablespoons of boiling water.
  • Add: 2 tablespoons sugar.
  • 1/3 teaspoon Vitamin C crystals (ascorbic acid) or 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. 
  • Toss in: 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries.
  • Pour blueberries and gelatin mixture into (cooled) baked pie shell and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
  • Garnish with freshly whipped cream.
    You can also make this recipe without a crust and place the berries in a dessert dish.
