Lissa Marie Redmond’s first life was in law enforcement, and her second is as an author. These two sides of her character and background keep her fans on the edge of their armchairs long into the night reading. Redmond didn’t just interview law enforcement to understand what happened there; she experienced it firsthand.
Who else would you trust to tell the inside story of
“A Cold Day In Hell”
but a retired cop who lived through something like it?
Her stories just wouldn’t let go, and the cop part had to fade into the recesses of her mind. With titles like A Cold Day In Hell, The Catch Your Death Series, The Parting Glass, The Secrets They Left Behind, and A Full Cold Moon, you will be taken on several journeys into these recesses. With Courtroom dramas, Pitbull lawyers, and Cops who use a morbid kind of humor to cover up their fatigue in a world that regularly goes topsy-turvey, her books will keep you guessing and wanting more.
Redmond has lived in Western New York for her entire life and has served with the Buffalo Police Department. Her stories draw on her life experience and imagination.
Nickel City Comic Con
Buffalo, New York, is also known as the “Nickel City.” This colorful historical reference to the Buffalo or American Bison that made its way onto the back of the Indian Head nickel is why it is also known as Nickel City. Lissa is a regular at the Nickel City Comic Con, where her fans come out to meet her.
