Part of: The Paranormal Canadiana Collection – available on Amazon.
“Elizabeth loves her job. However, being marooned at work on the eve of the winter solstice due to a blizzard was not on her list of holiday events.”
The Manitoba legislature building in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is full of mysterious symbols, hidden in plain sight. From the Bison to the Pool of the Black Star, there is more to the symbols than Elizabeth ever imagined. Everyone was gone for the holidays, but to her surprise, she encountered a mysterious man named Septimus.
Together, Septimus and Elizabeth must thwart a once-in-a-hundred-year threat to the honesty and morality of those who pass through the doors of the legislature. Sacred Geometry, sacred numbers, and a message can only be supplied by the Sphinx on the roof!
“Behind the seemingly banal stone colonnades, walls, and statues of what would normally be considered one of the least exciting buildings in town (The Manitoba Legislature), lie centuries of tradition, ages of myth and legend, and a very animated cast of specters, ghouls, and demigods. How would you react if you happened upon such a cast after work in a building you thought you knew? This book is a reminder that what we might perceive at the surface often gives us but a shallow reflection of what really is.” Editorial Review, JD Shipton
Introducing Selkie’s Song by Nancy M. Bell

Arabella Angarrick wants nothing more than to leave Penzance behind and study nursing in London. Her dad has other plans for her, though. Arabella would rather throw herself off the cliffs of Lamorna Cove than marry Daniel Treliving.
On one of her rambles across the moors on her pony, Arabella meets a dark and handsome young man who captures her fancy. There is something strange about him, but that only makes him more intriguing. Headstrong and stubborn, Arabella sets out to chart her own course in life, but things take an unexpected turn. Vear Du rescues her from danger, but can he protect her from himself?

Kayla’s Cowboy
You will surely love Kayla’s Cowboy, which portrays much of her knowledge of horses and Dressage. “Kayla’s Cowboy” is about the Dressage rider Kayla as she attends the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. A romantic relationship is the last thing on her mind. But after meeting the champion bull rider Rob Chetwynd, a rugged and sexy cowboy, circumstances slide right past her romantic defenses.

“Nancy rode Dressage for many years. She really uses those experiences in her most recent book, “Kayla’s Cowboy.” Her descriptions of the dressage episodes in the book are dead on the money. Super exciting and quite spicy!”

Alberta is known for its changeable weather!
“My goodness, what a weekend! The wind was blowing hard enough to take you off your feet if you weren’t careful. My horse was happy to be in the barn for a couple of hours and get out of the crazy weather. Today is hot and sunny with some periods of cloud. For the most part, the flower gardens survived without too much damage. Thankfully, there was no hail. The big white combine wiped out my six-foot-high delphiniums last year!”
