Merry Christmas & Holidays And A Very Happy New Year!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas with all the Joys of the Season. May our friends and neighbors who have all kinds of different traditions have lovely times with family and friends. And may we all have a good rest from work and worries.

“…we have seen his star in the east,”

The Fourth Wise Man

So many countries have
Their version of Santa…
St. Nicholas, Father Christmas, Grandfather Frost
And dear ol’ Santa Claus, to name just a few.

In case you were wondering,
There’s a story… I heard it’s true,
How Santa came to be
Our special present so very long ago.

You see, the wise men traveled so very far,
Following the promise of a Star
Trusting their hearts to find the Spirit of Christ
So they could bring precious gifts to worship Him.

Along the desert sands, they sang,
‘Let Love, Peace, and Joy begin.’
Now, three of the wise men are widely known,
Their precious gifts… gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

But hardly anyone knows of the little fourth wise one, as told.
Because you see, his gift was to be given, many times over.
It wasn’t sparkly or something you could hold,
It wasn’t twinkling or fragrant … or even apparent, just then.

It was love and laughter, good will and cheer
To be felt in everyone’s hearts both far and near.
This secret gift came to be when the Christ-Child
Looked into the fourth wise man’s twinkling eyes,
His kindly face beaming Love, Wonder, and Adoration,
He’d followed through the dark, a bright star in endless skies.

Above the snowy fields, he ever sings,
‘Let Love, Peace, and Joy begin.’
Although God is ever-present and His Love is here,
Grace is holding us all so, dear…

No matter the religion, One God is near
He sends this reminder out once a year…
Across the waters, under twinkling stars, he ever sings,
‘Let Love, Peace, and Joy begin.’
