Your World Inside: Washington, DC Retreat
A “Your World Inside” gathering was held from Sept. 25th to 30th in Washington, DC. The retreat participants met at the Earth’s Third Major Energy Center, which radiates outward from the Lincoln Memorial and represents the epicenter of our collective courage and willpower to rise energetically.
Founder of “Your World Inside,” Dr. Donn Jay Wiedershine is a spiritual intuitive who originated Deep Energy Transformation (DET), a new consciousness technology for healing and individual enlightenment.
Dr. Wiedershine has a large following, and his foundation organizes meditation retreats at locations he identifies as energy centers in his DET teachings. There are thirty-six in all, each representing a different energetic aspect. The retreat’s purpose was largely to promote world peace and individual freedom.
In several spiritual traditions, the Earth’s Energy Centers are often associated with chakras, simulating global energy vortices. In ancient Eastern philosophy, these correspond with the seven primary energy centers along the human spine. DET broadens the outlook to include 36 energy centers on Earth corresponding with 36 energy centers in the human body and auric field.
In Dr. Wiedershine’s DET framework, the Lincoln Memorial represents the Earth’s Third Major Energy Center, associated with collective courage and willpower.
The Ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial
Abraham Lincoln most represented this coherent energy. As president, he recognized humankind’s inherent oneness. From realization to action, Abraham Lincoln abolished slavery and unified the country. As such, the Lincoln Memorial, the Earth’s Third Major Energy site, is like a beacon of hope, divine grace, and the focus for freedom in the world.
Retreat attendees gathered at Lincoln’s statue and held a meditative ceremony led by Dr. Donn, acknowledging the opening of the Earth’s Third Energy Center so the power of good can flow more freely. Each participant also received DET sessions to open their Third Energy Centers and participated in inspirational group meditation sessions during the six-day retreat.

Deep Energy Transformation
As a new consciousness technology, Dr. Donn reports that he has practiced DET extensively to heal and rejuvenate his patients. He also teaches DET as a unique practice of meditative silence, absorbing negativity and giving participants positive energy that helps them tune into, or open up to, their inherent core abilities. Dr. Donn explains that developing our individual consciousness and tuning in to inner enlightenment is an attainment worth integrating into our everyday lives. He calls this inward process, taken over time, reaching the deepest level of what he refers to allegorically as the Ocean.
The result of attaining the deepest level of the metaphoric Ocean, a representative concept of our spiritual natures, becomes evident in our lives as expanded harmony and purpose. DET removes psychological blockages that can keep us from achieving what, intrinsically, as our core being, we could otherwise be capable of. In addition, many healings have been realized in Dr. Donn’s practice for those suffering from mental illness or trauma.

The next retreat is scheduled for the Seventh Energy Center of the Earth in Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA, next March 2027.
Retreat attendees participated in multiple group meditations and enjoyed sightseeing in Washington, DC. The group traveled on a “culinary tour,” enjoying foods from around the world while making new friends. The Ethiopian, Indian, and Japanese restaurants were highlights of the retreat, as was Matera at The River Inn in Washington, DC, where participants stayed.
